.
As leaders within our service, we thank you for your unwavering support, and each of you should be proud of the contribution made to the lives of our service users on a daily basis. We are so proud of our team, each and every person has played such an important part in ensuring our stability, efficiency and ability to fight this pandemic named Covid-19.
Covid-19 has delivered much fear for us all, not only fear of illness but fear of finance stability, loneliness and isolation. By working closely in partnership with our local authorities, local communities and government guidelines we have been able to transition through this time with minimum disruption and maximum safety.
We have seen so many acts of kindness, Simple acts which have helped us all to see the bigger picture- enjoying life is not all about spending in shops, going abroad, attending big events- so much joy can be found in doing kind deeds, learning new hobbies and focusing on the important things.
Its been an absolute pleasure to witness how our service has reacted to this pandemic. Our staff really are fantastic, going above and beyond for those we support and for each other as peers- we are very lucky to be a part of a team of such wonderful human beings.
We cannot fault the support we have received from our local authorities throughout this time, they continue to assist us with the challenges faced as does our local community.
For those who have sadly lost someone close to them throughout this time- with a heavy heart please accept our deepest of condolences. It is a cruel virus which needs eradicating as soon as physically and scientifically possible. Our thoughts are with you always.
At Blossoms we are looking into the future with excitement, Things will improve and the things we enjoy will slowly return to what was once considered 'the normal'- I am confident we will all move forward with anew outlook on life and a new awakening of what really is deemed 'important'. We continue to grow and develop the services we provide and are looking for more wonderful staff to join us on this journey. Our refer a friend scheme has proved very successful too :)
At this present time we have suspended any group events to reduce risks but we cannot wait until we are able to get together with our staff team, those we support and their families and friends to celebrate each other and our successes throughout this time.
Please continue to look after yourselves and without fail each other.
Always remember to smile! A smile spreads much faster than Covid-19 the Smile R rate is extremely High!!!!
Take Care
